Depending upon its mode of operation the unit can have a 100% turndown on liquid phases – controllable automatically from a control system.

HydroLoc Centrifuge

The HydroLoc is an enhanced gravity, multi-phase separation device designed to separate two immiscible liquids from each other, as well as removing micron sized particles in a continuous batch system. The range covers units 5 USGPM to 1,000 USGPM whilst operating from virtually atmospheric to as high as 10,000 psi.

It has an internal pressure retaining rotor with built in non-return valves and a jetting system to contain solids until it is decided to eject them to the solids collection boot. These solids, depending upon certain variables, can be efficiently removed to sub-micron sizes particularly where a large density differential between solids and liquids is present.

The technology comes as a result of many years of development in high-g separation technology, which includes a range of solid-liquid and liquid-liquid separation technologies.
