DPS is a specialist “Process Systems Integrator” serving the global Oil and Gas market. The company provides a total design and supply capability for integrated process systems, and individual process packages, from front-end engineering design studies, through to detailed design, construction, commissioning and operations. At the time of writing, DPS Group’s key markets are: FPSO Topsides Detailed Engineering Services Concept Screening, Conceptual, & FEED studies to the Independent Operators Field development and engineering services The majority of DPS Group projects are located overseas, therefore requiring a lot of co-ordination between the DPS head office in Bristol and the various overseas associate companies, customers, suppliers and partners.

Scope of responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining ISO 9001 accreditation
- Perform internal QA/HSE audits
- Supplier evaluation and auditing
- Material/Welding Inspections
- Review and approval of supplier/certification documents
- Third party inspection-arrangement and coordination
- Assist with evaluation of tenders
- Assist with preparation of project specific Quality and HSE plans
- Ensure an appropriate level of quality documentation and certification is completed throughout the company and associated projects.
- To supervise, coordinate and monitor the QA/HSE program and provide specialist advice and assistance to all departments.
- Other duties as may be required
- The QA/QC Engineer shall provide advice and support in relation to all technical company matters, ensuring that both client and company QA requirements are satisfied. Ensure positive interface with company, client and supplier representatives. Engage positively in promotion of all Quality and HSE activities and compilation of Quality documentation.
Qualifications
- A proven background in Quality Control and Inspection Activities
- ISO 9001 Internal Auditors Qualification (desirable)
- CSWIP Welding Inspection or equivalent
- HNC in Engineering or equivalent experience
Experience & Competency
- The overall objective of the position is too co-ordinate, develop and maintain the company management system controls and support processes required to satisfy current legislation, safety/environmental standards, common Best Practice and the Company QA/HSE systems.
- Must be a well organised self-starter with a positive outlook, team leadership skills, and a clear focus to get the job done.
