Scope of responsibilities

Piping design and layout including the following:

• Supervise 3D Piping & Equipment modelling using PDS/Microstation.
• Supervise production of piping general arrangements and Isometrics.
• Pipe stressing using Caesar II and hand calculations.
• Pipe and valve specification writing.
• Piping MTOs.
• Piping support special details.
• Produce detailed drawings using AutoCAD/Microstation.
• Information to other disciplines (platforms, nozzle orientation and special pipe supports).
• Checking isometrics against pipe spec and P&ID.
• As built data collection.
• Tie-in data collection.
• Occasional travel to attend site for manual isometrics of site run pipelines.
• Supervise and Check work produced by the Piping Design Engineers.
• Mentor and Advice on all piping issues
