The Berantai field is located in Block PM 309, 195 km from the Kemaman Supply Base (KSB), offshore Terenganu, Malaysia.  It is planned that the existing FPSO, East Fortune, be refurbished and the process facilities upgraded at the Keppel Shipyard, Singapore to meet with the field’s gas recovery requirements, for subsequent spread mooring in approx 72 metres water depth. First gas is planned for the end of 2011.

Having provided the detailed design for the original East Fortune FPSO process topsides, DPS are delighted to be working with Keppel and Petrofac for the upgrading and modification work.
