Incorporating the water treatment knowledge and expertise acquired over the years, DPS and partner company Biovis successfully designed and delivered a tailored, cost effective and environmentally applicable treatment process for the treatment of effluent water at a milk processing facility in Hampshire. The need came from complaints on odour which this solution eliminated.
Wastewater from the milk processing plant (from washing milk bottles, floors & transportation vehicles) is combined with biological waste from the milk & cream and chemical and organic waste from the facility. DPS were responsible for the design and supply of the complete staged system.
