Scope of responsibilities
Structural engineering & co-ordination including the following:
Supervision of structural analysis, co-ordination, checking and approval of 3D structural models, layouts, drawings & procedures
Responsibility for supervision and generation of structural project deliverables in accordance with company’s quality procedures, international standards and best engineering practice.
Liaising with DPS colleagues, vendors & clients on multiple projects
Supervise and Check work produced by the Structural Design Engineers.
Mentor and Advice on all structural design issues
Qualifications
B.Eng (Hons) in Structural Engineering,
Experience & Competency
Essential:
Staad Pro, SACS, MS Word , MS Excel
Considerable, relevant & demonstrable experience in industrial or offshore structural engineering
Previous experience in structural project execution (inc scheduling & resourcing)
Desirable:
Experience of 3rd party inspectorates such as DNV, ABS, Lloyds in relation to structural design
