Scope of responsibilities
Review of clients’ enquiries and specifications & Interpreting the clients’ requirements
Producing technical and commercial proposals including quotation documents & cost to builds
Generation of process solutions for various processes
Process engineering calculations e.g. vessel sizing, line sizing
Preparation of technical documentation such as PFDs, P&IDs, equipment lists
Liaising with internal departments (Engineering, Procurement, Project HSE and QA/CQ) to ensure that deadlines are met.
Obtaining subcontract and/or materials quotations as required
Managing estimation of scope with Proposals Manager, other Proposal team members and partners
Obtaining proposal sign off from the company’s management in accordance with the company’s QA systems.
Responding to client clarifications including participation in client clarification meetings
Continued involvement in successful proposals once they are converted to projects
Qualifications
Relevant Engineering Degree.
Experience & Competency
Essential
Intermediate: Word & Excel
Advanced: PowerPoint
Experience in a similar oil & gas role
Ability to understand & interpret P&IDs and PFDs
Desirable
Knowledge or experience of simulation software (HYSYS)
