Scope of responsibilities
DPS are seeking talented Senior and Lead Process Engineers to work at our Bristol UK office on demanding FPSO topside projects.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record working as a Senior / Lead Process Engineer in a detailed design project environment, working on Oil & Gas projects, preferably upstream / offshore design. Knowledge of crude separation, gas compression, produced water treatment, water injection and flare and utility systems is desired.
Your leadership and motivation will ensure the challenges of the project are overcome and that the client is provided with a well thought out design whilst adhering to the project budget and schedule.
The role will require you to work closely with clients, vendors and shipyards and will provide opportunity for worldwide travel.
You will take responsibility, make decisions and positively influence the development of the design project.
Qualifications
Degree in Chemical and/or Process Engineering.
Experience & Competency
Experience in oil & gas or petrochemicals sector, for packaged equipment supplier. IChemE chartered status preferable.
Preferably the candidate should have previous experience of engineering design and supply of packaged units for TEG gas dehydration, Amine gas sweetening, and Electrostatic Coalescer units for crude dehydration/desalting. Where candidate does not have direct experience he or she should be able to demonstrate a basic working knowledge of these systems.
The Candidate must be able to provide direct customer interface and will be responsible for managing packages from initial enquiry through to final delivery.
The Candidate must be self-motivated and have demonstrated a track record for delivery on time and to a high professional standard
The Candidate must have good communication and organization skills and be able to manage more junior staff and other functional engineering activities, where appropriate in support of package delivery.
